Craven Concerts,Inc. has been bringing quality musical presentations to New Bern since 1983. Now in our 35th year, we have a season of entertainment available to our members. Our first performance of the 2018 - 2019 season was Vocal Trash, a group of musicians and dancers who gave new meaning to “recycling” and “re- purposing” as they entertained the audience with instruments created from discarded items. Next on tap was “ Pop Go the Classics”, six amazingly talented musicians, whose selections ranged from William Tell Overture to Rhapsody in Blue.Their rapport with the audience added greatly to an already exciting evening. January brings us Thomas Pandolfi, who will be presenting an array of piano selections. Our finale for this season is the world renowned tenor Ronan Tynan, one of the Irish Tenors. He is internationally acclaimed for singing opera as well as popular music and we are thrilled that he will be performing in New Bern on April 1st.
