Craven Community College (CCC) is a dynamic two-year institution that serves more than 3,200 degree-seeking students per semester and more than 10,000 individuals in workforce development training programs. With campuses in both New Bern and Havelock, CCC is committed to meeting the education and training needs of eastern North Carolina.
The college offers a wide range of associate degree and certificate programs, as well as college transfer courses, career and occupational offerings, partnerships with numerous four-year universities, developmental studies and basic skills classes.
The New Bern campus is home to the state-of-the art Bosch Advanced Manufacturing Center, a 21st century Nursing Simulation Lab, and the innovative Early College High School. The Havelock campus is located next to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, and is home to the Institute of Aeronautical Technology, N.C. State’s Mechanical Systems Engineering Program and Early College EAST.
Beyond traditional programs and services, the college’s vibrant Lifetime Learning Center (LLC) and Adult Enrichment Program offers adult learners numerous and unique opportunities to learn about history, culture, arts and more--locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. The college is also home to Public Radio East, one of the few community colleges nationally with this distinction.
