Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening and New Location of Ghent Sandwich Shop, a family diner

We cordially invite you to attend a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the Grand Re Opening of Ghent Sandwich Shop, a family diner. 

Ghent Sandwich Shop was started in February of 1947 by Caesar and Vicki Saretto, who ran it for nearly 30 years. Pete Saretto, their son, took over Ghent with his wife Nikki and ran it until 2005. In December of 2005, Greg and Sandra Collins purchased the business and continue to own it to this day. Ghent Sandwich Shop has had numerous locations around the Ghent neighborhood throughout the years, finally opening the doors at its current location in May of 2021. We serve breakfast and lunch 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday and then serve dinner on Thursday and Friday evenings, offering a family friendly atmosphere for dining. We proudly serve New Bern and the surrounding communities holding monthly fundraiser nights featuring our famous hot hamburger plates. On those nights, we raise money for local charities and families in need. As a Navy veteran himself, Greg, along with Sandra, are proud supporters of our servicemembers, veterans and first responders
