9th Annual Craven County Veterans Standdown

On Friday, November 8, 2024 from 9:00-1:00 at the National Guard Armory on 301 Glenburnie St. New Bern, NC, Veterans Employment Base Camp and Organic Garden will team up with Craven NC Works Employment office to host a veteran’s outreach with a special event called a veteran’s stand-down. This event will primarily benefit homeless veterans in Craven, Pamlico, Jones, Beaufort and Carteret County but is open to veterans of all eras, active-duty personnel, family members and caregivers. 
The standdown will fall in the middle of a week of events for veterans:
November 7, 2024 10:00-2:00: Veterans Job Fair National Guard Armory
November 8, 2024 09:00-1:00: Veterans Standdown National Guard Armory
November 11, 2024 11:00-1:00: Veterans Day Luncheon Temple Baptist Church
November 11, 2024 6:00-12:00; March for the 22
